oh no, dead pixel
Hey everyone, this seller on Etsy has decided to start selling my items … and has simply copied my photography and changed the listing [and dropped the prices in half] so that they can get a sale [which is funny, because only 1 person has fallen for it. So much for that!]. Since I dont own the rights to Nintendo items, I cant rant and rave about them stealing the item or the original idea … but they were too lazy to even take their own photos!
Here’s what she’s stealing:

“8 Bit Coaster - Rubiks Cube - Set of 4” (before I retook the shot, even!)

“Nintendo Gameboy Fuse Bead Fridge Magnets”
Want to know what’s funny about the Rubik’s Cube coasters? I sell 6! There are 6 coasters in that picture! And she’s only selling 4! You cant let someone else do the work, take someone’s photography AND sell their items! Changing the order of them around doesn’t make it any better.
Wtf!
This is ridiculous. I cant believe her nerve, thinking that I wouldn’t ever notice or find her shop. Funny thing is, I found out about this through a treasury, so I’m asking the treasury poster to help me out. I also need your help! Please visit these links and FLAG these items [the link is at the very bottom of the page, in the middle.

Mark the item as “ The item may not be handmade by the seller.” It’ll be the first option.
You can write whatever you want. My sample that I leave for those who just want to plug and chug is:
This item is from ArgentaCollaborative.etsy.com, which has been listing geekery items since 2009. This item AND its photography has been blatantly copied and stolen from ArgentaCollaborative’s Etsy shop and is for sale on this seller’s Etsy site without the consent of the original seller. These photos need to be removed because they are violating ArgentaCollaborative’s intellectual property rights to her photography. Original listings can be found here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/59699592/perler-bead-rubiks-cube-coaster-set (stolen item url: http://www.etsy.com/listing/87418342/8-bit-coaster-rubiks-cube-set-of-4) & http://www.etsy.com/listing/62630417/nintendo-game-boy-magnet-pick-1 (stolen item url: http://www.etsy.com/listing/86591662/nintendo-gameboy-fuse-bead-fridge ).
Thank you for keeping Etsy honest!
Her Etsy site description reads:
I’m a geeky crafter. I started making geeky crafts (aka geekery) when I first began dating my husband. I love creating home made gifts and he loves video games, so I put the two together and started making coasters. Since then, I’ve been addicted. I make gifts for all my husband’s gamer friends and am constantly looking for new ideas and techniques.
And by that, she means stealing them.
I would appreciate it if everyone would flag these items for me. Etsy is a market place for crafters with ORIGINAL ideas to sell their wares. We need to respect eachother’s ideas by not piggybacking on others’ success, and copying and scamming are not allowed!

read your post about the seller stealing your images. Have you reported it to Etsy your self?. I caught a similar thing...
